Admission Process

How to apply in person or through post. 

  1. Application for admission to the B.Sc (HS) Degree Course be made on the prescribed form by interested students.

  2. The prescribed form along with the prospectus can be collected from the college office personally or submitted online on www.aihmpune.com

  3. The admission form duly filled with all requisite documents should be submitted to the college within the date prescribed for receipt of the admission forms. Incomplete and incorrect forms will not be accepted.

  4. Admission forms will be scrutinized by the college and appropriate authorities.

Admission is granted solely on the discretion of the college authorities.

  1. The students should pay the prescribed fees by NEFT/Online Payment mode on college account details on the same day when his/her admission form is signed by the appropriate authorities; failing which the admission will stand cancelled automatically.

  2. The fee receipt should be preserved by the students.

Prospectus and admission form

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Administrative Officer, Ambrosia Institute of Hotel Management (AIHM), Survey No.38/2, Bawdhan Khurd, Pune 411021. Request for application form and prospectus must accompany with the NEFT to Ambrosia Institute of Hotel Management, Pune, Plus postage if any required, or collect the form personally on Payment of Rs. 150/- at the college office counter.

The request must contain the name, telephone number and full postal address (with PIN code) of the person requesting the prospectus and admission form, and the name of the course to which admission is sought.

Completing Admission Form

  • Instructions to students for filling the admission form are given along with the form.

  • Documents required must be submitted with the form.

  • Students may also apprise themselves of all the rules of admission and the procedure of admission as started in the prospectus. Any changes made thereafter, will be displayed on the notice-board of the college and will be available on this website www.aihmpune.com

  • Admission form must be complete in all respects including the documents.

  • A duly completed admission form is one which gives all particulars sought and has all applicable documents attached.

  • Incomplete forms will not be considered for admission.

  • Admission form must be completed by the student in his/her own and in clear handwriting.

  • It may be sent to the College in person, or by post/courier.

  • For students under the reservation category SC/ST caste

Fees

The tuition fee and other fees for BSc.HS are charged according to norms prescribed by Savitribai Phule Pune University. They are subject to change from time to time as required by the University and Government of Maharashtra.

Fees should be deposited by NEFT/Online Payment in Bank of Maharashtra, Bawdhan Branch, Bawdhan Pune – 411021 on the same day when the admission is confirmed or else the student will be considered to have withdrawn his application and accordingly, admission will stand canceled.

Students belonging to Backward Classes (SC/ST) can avail of prescribed concessions in tuition fees.

Students of all other categories have to pay the fees at the time of admission.

Candidates from ‘Outside Maharashtra’ have to pay higher fees.

Candidates from ‘outside Maharashtra’ have been described by the Savitribai Phule Pune University as follows and which means:

  • A candidate whose domicile status is Outside Maharashtra and has passed his passed his qualifying examination from University outside Maharashtra. He will be eligible for admission as candidate from outside Maharashtra.

  • A Candidate whose Domicile Status is outside Maharashtra state, but who has passed his qualifying examination from a Statutory University in the State of Maharashtra, but has passed his HSC or its equivalent examination from outside Maharashtra State, while filling in the application form for admission he/she should indicate the domicile status as ‘other than Maharashtra’.

Quotas and Reservations

The college follows the government policies and guidelines for reservation while allocating seats in this category.

Students desirous of getting admission in any of the reserved categories must provide with the form all supporting documents issued by the appropriate and prescribed competent authority, without which the application will be considered for open category.

Students who do not seek admission within reserved categories, or who have applied in the open category, will not later be considered for any reserved category.

Refund of fees on cancellation of admission as per university rules.

If a student chooses to withdraw from the program of study in which he is enrolled, the college/institution concerned shall follow the following five-tier system for the refund of the fees* remitted by the students.

Note:

  1. In case Sr. No. 1 in the table above, the College/Institution concerned shall deduct all amount not more than 5% of the fees paid by the student, subject to a maximum of Rs. 5000/- as processing charges from the refundable amount.

  2. Fees shall be refunded by College/Institution to an eligible student within 15 days from the date of receiving a written application from him/her in this regards.
